Publication Schedule and Article Publication Policy
The Wah Academia Journal of Social Sciences (WAJSS) is committed to maintaining a transparent, consistent, and timely publication process in accordance with internationally recognized scholarly publishing standards.
WAJSS follows a scheduled issue publication model. The journal publishes four issues annually (Quarterly) according to the official publication schedule below:
- 30 March
- 30 June
- 30 September
- 30 December
Each issue is formally released on its designated publication date. All manuscripts that have successfully completed the journal's editorial workflow—including initial editorial screening, double-blind peer review, author revisions (where applicable), final editorial approval, copyediting, proofreading, typesetting, and production—are published as part of the relevant scheduled issue.
The journal does not publish individual articles online immediately after acceptance. Instead, accepted manuscripts are held for publication in the next available scheduled issue, subject to editorial planning, production readiness, and issue capacity. Consequently, all articles included within the same issue are assigned the same official publication date, corresponding to the scheduled release date of that issue.
To ensure complete transparency in the editorial and publication process, every published article displays the following bibliographic and editorial information:
- Date Received
- Date Accepted
- Date Published
The Received and Accepted dates reflect the actual progression of each manuscript through the editorial and peer-review process and therefore vary from article to article. The Published date represents the official publication date of the journal issue in which the article appears. Accordingly, all articles contained within a particular issue carry the same publication date, irrespective of their individual submission or acceptance dates.
The order of articles within an issue is determined solely by editorial and production considerations and does not necessarily correspond to the chronological order in which manuscripts were submitted, reviewed, accepted, or finalized.
WAJSS adheres to its announced publication schedule to ensure the regularity, reliability, and integrity of the scholarly record. Any changes to the publication schedule or exceptional publication arrangements will be communicated through the journal's official website and editorial announcements.
It may be noted specifically that the number of articles can be more in one issue than the other. But we make sure each article goes through the editorial process and then appear on the website.
